Holly Calhoun

Director of Family Services and Health Transitions

Holly began her career at Shine Early Learning in 2015 as the Director of Family Services and Health in Georgia and was responsible for leading the startup of all components of Family Services, Health, Nutrition, and ERSEA for the program. With her vast knowledge and experience, Holly was promoted to Deputy Director and managed the planning, implementation, and operation of the program. In 2018, she moved into the Director of Family Services and Health Transitions. Prior to joining Shine Early Learning, Holly was an Early Childhood Development Manager for Head Start in Columbus, Georgia where she supervised a large multi-disciplinary team in all areas of Education, Health Services, Nutrition, and Disabilities. She has worked extensively with children with disabilities and has specialized training in ABA/behavior therapy and autism. Holly holds a bachelor's degree in Psychology from Auburn University and earned her master's degree with honors in Special Education from The University of West Florida.
